Salumeria Gardens
An independent pizzeria tucked away in a secluded garden in the heart of Spinola Bay run by Max and Pablo, Salumeria Gardens pairs a laid-back outdoor setting with a cult following. Known for its wood-fired pizzas and relaxed atmosphere, it’s a go-to spot for casual evenings, good food, and local character.
Toghma
Togħma by the lovely Christina, is a natural bakery concept combining classic Maltese flavours with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, in the most innovative way possible, but rooted in tradition.
Hole in the Wall
A bar with nearly a century of history, once literally a hole in the wall serving takeaway wine. Today, it’s a well-loved cultural spot hosting live music, art, and independent events. No advertising, small suppliers, and a strong community feel keep it honest, unpolished, and true to itself.
dave.mt
Run by David, Dave builds strategic websites where everything is thought through — structure, flow, and content all working together. Less about trends, more about clarity and results. It’s a joined-up approach that avoids the usual disconnect and focuses on making sites that actually do what they’re meant to.
Coffee & Strangers
A specialty coffee bar and training hub based in Sliema, Coffee & Strangers focuses on quality, education, and the full coffee experience. Alongside its espresso bar, it runs accredited courses, workshops, and events, building a community around coffee culture, skill, and a shared appreciation for the craft.
Big Ron’s Records
A music bar built around vinyl, good drinks, and a proper local crowd. Expect DJs, regular events, and a space that leans heavily into record culture. Part bar, part hangout, part record spot — easygoing, a bit rough around the edges, and always about the music.
Storeroom
A purpose-built music venue in Ta’ Xbiex, designed with the stage and sound at its core. Intimate, fully rigged, and thoughtfully laid out, it hosts everything from live sessions to underground nights — a space built for the music to take full control.
La Luz
A small Mexican taqueria and cocktail bar in Sliema, full of colour, flavour, and a bit of attitude. Tacos, drinks, and a lively, easygoing vibe — if the praying hands are lit, you’re good to go.
Sonny
Run by Wayne — who you might recognize as our POPP Dawg chef at our events — Sonny leans into smoked, American-style food with a local twist. Built on what started as Brooklyn Eats, it’s all about bold flavours, quality local produce, and crowd favourites like brisket, pork belly, and that bone marrow burger.
Stache Studios
A Malta-based illustration project built around bold, detailed visuals and a strong local edge. Drawing from tattoo culture, vintage graphics, and Maltese slang, Stache turns familiar phrases and symbols into prints and merch that feel both nostalgic and slightly offbeat.
Pauline Does Graphics
Pauline is a Malta-based artist drawing from local humour and everyday sayings to create work that feels instantly familiar. Playful, a little nostalgic, and very local, her illustrations live across prints and collaborations, often turning inside jokes and shared references into something you can actually take home.
NOVI Burger
A spot for proper American-style comfort food, done with better ingredients and a bit more care. NOVI keeps things classic — burgers, sides, craft beer — with a focus on fresh, locally sourced produce and a laid-back atmosphere built around food, music, and easy hangs. Make sure you try their Buffalo Chicken Wings!
Lindsey Bahia
An award-winning American–Filipino photographer based in Malta, known for work that feels both polished and real. Shooting across fashion, food, events, and campaigns, she moves easily between styles. Named Best Photographer at the Malta Fashion Awards, her work is sharp, human, and always considered.
Urbancraft
When we think wooden structures, we think Marcio. A home and garden outfit focused on practical, well-built solutions for outdoor and living spaces. From sheds to custom setups, Urbancraft keeps things straightforward — functional builds, solid materials, and a hands-on approach to getting things done.
Gugar
A Valletta hangout built by friends, centred around community, good living, and making things work. Coffee, drinks, simple food, a small library, and rotating local art — all come together in a space that’s easy, welcoming, and a bit improvised, in the best possible way.
Offbeat
A small Valletta bar built around live music, with a strong lean towards jazz, swing, and everything in between. Intimate and easygoing, it’s the kind of place you go for a drink and stay for the set — simple, social, and all about the music.
Drupy
Brother, friend, one of the original founding members of POPP and co-creator of our original brand, now focused on illustration. Drupy’s work drifts into otherworldly territory — Personal, detailed, and a bit surreal, all drawn from his own universe.
Island Rockers Sound System
Started in dub and roots reggae, now pushing a wider range of underground sounds. A custom-built system known for its outstanding quality — easily one of the best-sounding rigs on the island. Run by our good friend and sound boy Mark, with a proper focus on sound first, always.
Lord Chambray
Malta’s first craft brewery, founded in 2016 and based in Gozo. Known for a solid core range alongside rotating small-batch releases, it covers everything from easy-drinking lagers to more experimental styles — consistent, well-made beer that helped shape the local scene.
Ferment Island
A flavour-driven project rooted in local ingredients and Mediterranean character. Ferment Island focuses on bold, tangy profiles made with care, using what’s grown and produced on the island. Small-batch, hands-on, and built around supporting local — it’s all about keeping things circular, honest, and full of life.
Filfla Chilli Co
An artisan producer turning local ingredients into bold, flavour-packed chutneys, relishes, and spreads. Built on Maltese flavours — sun-dried tomatoes, olives, citrus, native chillies — each jar is balanced, versatile, and easy to use. Simple upgrades for everyday food, with a proper local backbone.
Juwill
A small, hands-on video production team with a sharp focus on results. What started with smaller projects has grown into work for some of the island’s biggest brands, with content reaching wide audiences. Clean, effective storytelling, built around strong visuals and getting the job done properly.
Head & Jam
A small hair boutique in Balzan run by Elena, built around a more personal, considered approach. Focused on colour work, curls, and education, it’s a calm, intimate space where the experience matters just as much as the result — thoughtful, unhurried, and done with care.
Hollywood
Run by Tom, this revived Valletta shop traces its roots back to the 1950s. Once an “everything store,” it’s now a space for Maltese art, objects, and craft — carefully restored and thoughtfully curated, giving local creatives a proper platform.
Tabula Rasa
Created by Matthew, Tabula Rasa is a curated lifestyle store bringing together vinyl, books, ceramics, plants, teas, and offbeat finds. A mix of objects for the home and everyday rituals — thoughtful, a little eclectic, and built around things worth keeping.
ReRoot
Run by Jeanpaul, ReRoot is a go-to for plastic-free, low-impact living. Focused on everyday essentials, it’s all about making more conscious choices accessible — simple swaps, less waste, and a more considered way of doing things without overcomplicating it.
Tuff
Created by Chris and Ian, Tuff is a 100% handmade organic cider made with quality apples sourced from Slovakia. What started as a home-brew grew into a proper local brand in 2019 — known for their cider and natural sodas, all clean, crisp, and done properly from the start.
City Ice
Run by Sam, City Ice supplies quality specialty ice alongside a curated range of imported spirits and ingredients. Reliable, detail-focused, and easy to work with.
The Foodist
Run by mighty Marius, The Foodist is built around event kitchen concepts, best known for Smoke & Ember — a parilla-style BBQ setup focused on fire, flavour, and proper grilling. Alongside that, he also handles kitchen equipment and refrigeration rentals for events. A truly all round service!
Manouche
A craft bakery and bistro built around French techniques, quality ingredients, and proper attention to process. Fresh bread, pastries, and a full menu come together in a space that mixes bakery and kitchen — classic at the core, but shaped by seasonal produce and a more local feel.
The Huskie Craft Beer Company
Founded by Jean and Miguel, Huskie started as a garage home-brewing project in 2017 and grew into a proper microbrewery driven by science and quality. Known for clean, well-crafted beers with a technical edge, it’s a staple in the local scene, built on curiosity, precision, and doing things right.
Backlight
Backlight handles production across festivals, conferences, and private events. From early concept to final setup, it’s all about making things work properly — lighting, staging, and the details that pull everything together and make an event feel right.
